FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We welcome children from 3 to 11 years old for our enrichment workshops and modelling courses. For teens aged 12 to 18 years, we have dedicated grooming and modelling programmes.
Not at all! Most of our students are complete beginners. Our courses are designed to guide children step by step — from confidence-building to stage performance.
Your child will gain confidence, discipline, stage presence, and life skills such as social etiquette and teamwork — all taught in a fun, supportive environment.
Joining our courses does not guarantee jobs. However, children who show readiness may be invited to join our agency database and be considered for commercials, campaigns, and fashion shows.
Parents are encouraged to stay for the briefing at the start and the showcase at the end. During the class, children participate independently to build confidence and focus.
Trial Workshop: 1 hour
Child Modelling Course: 6 weeks
Teens Grooming & Modelling: 5 weeks
Holiday Programmes (e.g., Runway Makeover): 1 day
Yes, children receive certificates of participation, merit, or distinction depending on the course and their progress.
Comfortable clothing for movement, plus shoes for catwalk practice. Specific wardrobe requirements will be shared before each showcase or event.

All lessons are conducted at our studio in Singapore, with showcases occasionally held in shopping malls or event spaces.

We are incredibly grateful to Impact Models Studio for the positive impact it has had on our boys. Joining IMS's modeling class and attending their little fashion parties is one of our daughter's favourite activities! Since joining them 3 years ago, our daughter has gained a lot more confidence in herself, grown from being more shy to an extroverted one.
She thoroughly enjoys the auditions for which she is shortlisted for, and learns so much through the how to accept rejections (failed auditions) with stride, and still be optimistic and upbeat about the next one.
Having worked with a few photograpers/videographers and instructors now, I must say that Paul, Eileen and the wonderful team of instructors and creative folks at IMS is one of the best in the industry when it comes to working with children. This is not an understatement. They know how to get the best out of the children they work with, without putting pressure on the children and making it fun and joyful. This is something that we truly love to see as parents.
IMS has made (and continues to make) a wonderful impact on our daughter's lives, and that is priceless.

Impact Model has been truly amazing for my girls! We’ve been with them for about 3 years, and the transformation has been incredible. My elder daughter started off as a shy and quiet girl, but through their modeling and dance programs, she has grown into a strong and confident young lady who always strives to do her best.
Today, she speaks confidently on stage as a school emcee and has even been chosen to be in the front row of her school dance performance. She began with the Modeling Class, then progressed to Basic Dance, and proudly graduated from the Advanced Course — an achievement that makes us so proud!

My daughter has been with Impact Models Studio for four years, since she was just four years old. From birth, we were advised not to allow her to pursue contact sports such as taekwondo or ball games, so at four years old I gave her the option of modelling instead — and she has loved it ever since.
What she has gained goes way beyond learning how to take good photos. Through auditions and jobs (whether successful or not), she has learned how to present herself confidently, answer questions clearly, and demonstrate on the spot the skills she’s learnt like posing and runway walking. These are not superficial skills, but are life lessons that I believe will serve her well in the future.
She has been fortunate to book several jobs, and each one has made her incredibly proud. In fact, her school teacher once presented her work to the class to highlight her professionalism — a recognition of qualities that even adults need in today’s world. On set, she has consistently been praised for her professionalism, which I attribute to the excellent training and guidance from Impact Models Studio.
As a mother, I’m grateful that my daughter has been given opportunities to express herself and build resilience.
